Proudly Supporting the Sal Iacono Family Bursary
“This bursary isn’t about the money alone. It’s about belief. It’s about reminding someone their future is worth investing in.”
At LegacyNex, we believe that legacies aren’t just about memories — they’re about the impact we ripple forward. The people we lift. The futures we help shape.
That’s why we’re so proud to oversee the administration of the Sal Iacono Family Bursary, a program that’s been quietly changing lives since 2007.
Created in honour of Sal Iacono, a man who believed deeply in education, opportunity, and leaving a little more light in the world than he found, this bursary has helped close to 200 students pursue studies and careers in fields ranging from business and broadcasting to social work, veterinary services, and administration.
This year, we’re thrilled to announce that the bursary will fully cover the tuition for Quinn O’Malley, who is entering his final year of Broadcasting Studies at Algonquin College.
In Quinn’s own words:
“I can’t even put into words how much stress this is going to save me from not having to worry about tuition at all. I never got the chance to meet Sal Iacono personally, but from getting to know more about the type of person he was and the values he cherished… I will continue to strive every day to be the type of person he could have been proud of! I cannot thank LegacyNex enough for their continued support of my education and future! Without their support, I can’t even imagine where I would be standing today.”
“Legacies don’t echo in stone or wealth — they echo in the lives we touch and the futures we help shape.”
Education meant everything to Sal. It was his way of building futures, opening doors, and showing people they mattered.
Through this bursary, his values continue to guide, uplift, and empower new generations of learners — and remind us all of the quiet, enduring power of believing in someone.
And how proud Sal would be. How very proud.
