Three years after losing her father, Elena boarded a plane hoping to encounter something unfamiliar enough to challenge the assumptions she didn't even realize she was carrying.
She returned thinking differently about inheritance.
Not simply the money, property and possessions we deliberately leave behind, but the perspective, judgment, values, habits and ways of moving through the world that are transmitted without ever appearing in a will.
